Youth Soccer Training Program




Erin M’Liss Bonagura
Coach Erin M’Liss Bonagura has over ten years of coaching experience. She will be starting her ninth season coaching girls soccer at Wallenpaupack Area Middle School. Previously she coached both boys and girls middle school soccer for East Stroudsburg School District at the North Campus. Coach Bonagura was also the assistant women’s soccer coach at East Stroudsburg University for three years. She helps to run and coach camps and clinics through Buckhorn Soccer Academy as well as coaching for the Wallenpaupack Youth Soccer League.

Katie Schkolenko
Coach Katie Schkolenko will be starting her ninth year coaching soccer at Wallenpaupack Area School District. She spent five years coaching the middle school girls before becoming the assistant varsity and high school goalkeeper coach. She has her NSCAA state soccer coaching diploma as well as her NSCAA Level 1 and Level 2 Goalkeeper License.

Shawn Knash
Coach Shawn Knash returned to coach at his alma mater after playing at Kutztown University. He will be starting his sixth year as the assistant varsity, head junior varsity and goalkeeper coach for Honesdale High School.

Our mission is to take each player's soccer ability to the next level through technical and tactical training. This next level of soccer will be reached through skill development, mental desire and fitness. We will foster a positive and energetic training environment that will support their current skill set as well as push them to improve upon those skills. The players will develop a lifelong passion for the game of soccer through positive experiences, training. competition, and team work. They will also  develop the important life skills of perseverance, hard work, commitment, and leadership. Each player will have the opportunity to continue to take their game to the next level.


Scott Bonagura
Coach Scott Bonagura has over eighteen years of coaching experience. He holds both a National and State Soccer Coaching Diploma from the NSCAA and has his USSF “D” Soccer Coaching License. Coach Bonagura is currently the head coach for the Wallenpaupack Area High School varsity boys program. This fall will be the start of his thirteenth year running that program. Previously he spent seven years coaching boys and girls soccer at Delaware Valley School District at both the middle school and high school level. Coach Bonagura has traveled overseas with the People to People Sports Ambassador Program to coach USA youth teams in Europe. He is the director of Buckhorn Soccer Academy, which runs youth soccer camps and clinics. He is also the Director of Coaching for the Wallenpaupack Youth Soccer League.
